The Wombat 100 was launched in 2007 and within three years, became one of the premier marathon events in Victoria. After a break in 2011 to allow the event to move back to its preferred month of April - the Wombat 100 is back in 2012!
With assistance from the Wombat Mountain Bike Club, the Wombat 100 features some of the best riding Victoria has to offer! The event is staged from the picturesque Cammeray Waters at Woodend in Victoria, only one hour’s drive from central Melbourne and 40 minutes from the airport.
The course will traverse the popular riding location of the Wombat State Forest and adjacent private property with a mix of fast fire trail, forest riding and up to 50% technical and flowing single track. No tarmac, guaranteed!
Riders have the option to ride the full 100km or the 50km half course. There is also an 18km course for junior riders under the age of 16 years.
